Used Bird 43 meters are shipped  in a, form fitting, cushion made with instapak quick foam in bags ‡ (in the US).   I use a dummy meter to form the foam so YOUR meter never sees the pressure or heat. Also included with every 43 are a dummy slug to protect the pointer (an active element is required for operation) Meters require elements. The manual can be viewed and printed here http://www.bird-electronic.com/products/pdfs/opmanual/43.pdf .  New meters are shipped it the bird box unless noted.  ‡ All meters ordered with a hard case are shipped it the hard case. I pack very well please check my ebay feedback ID = ka3art5.

I will swap QC connectors to what you need.  You must ask prior to shipping.

ALL Meters are TESTED at 25Watts on 2 meters (144MHz) with my TS-2000X and a 25C element or equivalent .

Prices are determined with a formula involving prior selling prices, current stock, and cosmetic condition.  

The letters in my item ID are for my reference to assure you get the correct item.   I often photograph several hundred element at a time. The only way to keep track of the element is with a unique item ID.  An item with AAA is not better or worse then an item with RRR, HHH, or ZZZ.  Nicer items of the same type are priced higher.
