Used Bird 43 meters are shipped in a, form fitting, cushion made with instapak quick foam in bags ‡ (in the US). I use a dummy meter to form the foam so YOUR meter never sees the pressure or heat. Also included with every 43 are a dummy slug to protect the pointer (an active element is required for operation).
